happy friday! here are the pictures from our trip to istanbul and emre's 38th week. hard to believe he's only been with us that long, this amazing little man.

we had dinner at da mario our first night - an upscale italian restaurant in a verrrry upscale istanbul neighborhood. ben noticed a famous turkish actor dining with his wife behind us. fond memories from our last dinner there with adam, julianne & baby kathryn!

dinner at mavi balik - ben wanted fish while in istanbul and by god he got it! levrek (sea bass) is in season now, and it was delicious.

the weather was GORGEOUS our entire time there. out on a walk in nisantasi - he insisted on sitting with one foot hanging out of the stroller. this kid!
happened upon this as we passed the fire house. i think they were watering the lawn, though ben's pretty certain he was trying to put out the sun.

first solo flight (without ben). we did pretty well!
exhausted, glad to be home.
mom, thought you'd be happy to see emre's discovered the fun that is tupperware. of course, as with most things, it can only be enjoyed without socks.
